This page explains what information AcctBuy handles and why.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, an optional name and a password. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash.
• Orders and balance: the products you buy, amounts, your balance and top-ups.
• Delivered credentials: the accounts delivered to you are stored encrypted so that you can open your order page again.
• Support and applications: tickets you open and supplier/partner applications you send, including the messages you write.
• Two-factor authentication: if you turn it on, your authenticator secret is stored encrypted and recovery codes are stored only as hashes.

Payments

Top-ups are processed by PayPal. We receive the payment status and amount; we never see or store your card or PayPal login details.

Cookies and local storage

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and a short-lived cookie during two-factor login. Your browser's local storage keeps your theme choice and wishlist. If you choose "Remember keys" in the 2FA code generator, those keys stay in your browser only. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking scripts.

How we use information

We use it to run your account, deliver and support your orders, protect against fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

You can change your API key, turn two-factor authentication on or off, and log out at any time from your dashboard. To ask about your data, open a support ticket.
